Lelo for Georgia does not consider creating a coalition with the ruling party

The ruling Georgian Dream party no longer enjoys trust among Georgian citizens, and therefore the option of creating a coalition with it is not considered. This statement, according to InterprossNews, was made on August 24 by one of the leaders of the opposition party Lelo for Georgia, banker Badri Japaridze. Lelo for Georgia does not consider creating a coalition with the Georgian dream, because we believe that this force has exhausted all moral resources, and also lost the confidence of the population, the banker said. He also called a positive development the signing by the leaders of 30 opposition parties of a memorandum on the protection of votes during the parliamentary elections, which are due to be held on October 31. Lelo also acceded to the agreement for Georgia. It is worth noting that Dzhaparidze and another banker Mamuka Khazaradze, who is also the founder of the Lelo party for Georgia, were previously members of the Georgian Dream. They left this party when a criminal case on money laundering was opened against bankers in the Prosecutor General's Office.
