Opinion poll: Ukrainians blame the crisis more on power than coronavirus
53% of Ukrainians believe that the economic crisis in the country is happening and may escalate in the fall due to incompetence of the authorities. The corresponding data were published on July 2 by the sociological group Rating, the correspondent of the news agency reports. According to the source, 32% of the country's inhabitants consider coronavirus and the quarantine restrictions caused by it to be the main cause of the crisis. Another 6% believe that the cause of the crisis could be the war in the Donbass. The survey showed that in the next six months, about 40% of respondents expect a deterioration in the country's economic situation, 31% no changes, and only 17% improvement. In addition, 50% of respondents announced the deterioration of the economic situation of their family, almost 40% stated the absence of significant changes, 9% saw improvement. Sociologists note that Ukrainians aged 18 and over took part in the survey held on June 24 28, a total of 2 thousand people participated in all regions of the country.
