Turkey's military neutralized nine PKK members in Iraq
The Turkish armed forces neutralized nine members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) during the special operation Tiger Claw. This was reported on June 27 by Anadolu Ajansi. According to journalists, the special operation took place in the Haftanin area. According to media reports, battles with Kurdish rebels will continue. The term neutralized is often used by the Turkish military as a euphemism, behind which the physical elimination of the enemy is hidden. Recall that the Kurdistan Workers' Party is considered a terrorist organization in Turkey and its activities in the country are banned. For more than 30 years, Kurds have been fighting for the right to own autonomy within the state. During the bloody clashes during this time, more than 40 thousand people died.
