Launched from the ISS, an American military satellite launched into orbit
The American military satellite Red-Eye-2 launched into orbit from the International Space Station (ISS). This was reported on the NASA website. The Red-Eye microsatellite (programs) was launched this afternoon into Earth orbit, the report said. According to the news agency, the 110 kg Red-Eye-2 orbiter was delivered to the ISS by the American cargo spacecraft Cygnus in February 2020. The device will test satellite communications, on-board computers and thermal control technologies.
