In South Korea, 17 more cases of coronavirus infection were identified


In South Korea, over the past day, 17 cases of infection with a new type of coronavirus have been identified, according to the South Korean Center for Disease Control and Prevention. It is noted that this is a record low daily increase in the number of infected in almost a month. Among 17 new cases, 11 are associated with foci of infection within the country, the rest are imported. Thus, the total number of confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infections in the Republic of Korea reached 12,438. There were no new fatal cases from diseases caused by COVID-19.
