Politico: German Chancellor thinks about full-time participation in G7 summit


German Chancellor Angela Merkel has not yet agreed on G7 face-to-face participation in the June summit of the Group of Seven (G-7) in Washington, according to Politico on May 29, citing the German government. She thanked his organizer US President Donald Trump for inviting him to the event. Merkel attributed her decision to the situation with the coronavirus pandemic. According to the news agency, on May 24 in the White House told that holding a face-to-face meeting G7 be postponed to the end of June.
