In Ukraine, the director of the hospital went on hunger strike

In Sumy region, the director of the hospital of the city of Gluhov went on hunger strike due to childless. He stated this in his address published on May 4 by Gluhov TV and Radio Company. He said that the hospital could not conclude a contract with the National Health Service of Ukraine (NSU) and did not receive the necessary funding. In the last one and a half months, I have done everything in my power, sought help from various authorities, but without success. I am therefore on hunger strike from today. It will last until the collective receives wages, the director said. The man noted that earlier statistics were mistakenly sent to the NSU not for a year, but for a quarter, on the basis of which, the hospital was assigned insufficient funding. According to him, the mistake was promised to correct, but the hunger strike will last until the money is in the accounts. According to the news agency, earlier ex-Minister of Finance of Ukraine Igor Umansky told that in the budget of Ukraine there is a huge hole, because of which doctors do not receive promised additional payments.
