Uzbekistan introduced self-isolation regime due to coronavirus
Since April 6, the authorities of Uzbekistan have introduced a regime of compulsory self-isolation in connection with the spread of coronavirus of a new type. The infection control operational headquarters decided accordingly. Since April 6 in Tashkent, Nukus, as well as regional centers, the regime of self-isolation introduced from April 1, becomes mandatory, the message reads. It is noted that on April 6 in Tashkent, Nukus and regional centers will restrict the movement of residents on bicycles and scooters. When entering markets and shopping malls, visitors will measure body temperature. At elevated temperature, entry to trading institutions will be prohibited. According to the news agency, 241 cases of new type coronavirus infection were confirmed in Uzbekistan by April 4. Also in the country more than 100 thousand citizens are quarantined.
