He also said that the European Union needs to impose sanctions on Iranian individuals and entities working on missile programs. Commenting on Iran's launch of Noor's first military satellite, Pompeo said that this means the following: the development of Iran's nuclear program continues. No country has ever used ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile) capabilities except to deliver nuclear weapons. Pompeo The U.S. secretary of state said that Iran's space program is not peaceful. Tehran, the U.S. representative insists, should not be allowed to develop ballistic missiles. As previously reported by the news agency, Noor was launched on April 22. It was launched into an orbit with a height of 425 km by a two-stage Qased launch vehicle. The Americans were unaware of the existence of this missile until it became known to the world.
