Kosovo justice minister accuses PDC activists of defamation
On 3 April, Albulena Hajiu, Minister of Justice of self-proclaimed Kosovo, accused activists of libel of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDC). On her Facebook page, Hajiu posted an image walking around the Internet comparing the costs of Hajiu and her predecessor Abelyard Tahiri during her first two months in office. According to Hajiu, this image is distributed by supporters of the PDC and is defamatory (according to the image, during Hajiu's first two months in office, the ministry's costs were four times higher than under Tahiri). The figures given are slander and early next week Abelyard will be published fraud and costs he made as minister, as well as a comparison with my costs, she said. Hajiu promised to publish soon materials about Tahiri's illegal fraud during his tenure as Minister of Justice. Abelyard Tahiri is a supporter of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, of which President Hashim Tachi of Kosovo is the founder.
