China's currency market turnover reached $2.48 trillion for March


China's foreign exchange market showed turnover of 17.36 trillion yuan (about $2.48 trillion) for March, Xinhua news agency reported on April 24. In particular, the turnover of transactions with foreign currencies between banks of China and their clients in March amounted to 3.22 trillion yuan, while the volume of interbank currency transactions reached 14.15 trillion yuan, the State Administration of the PRC for Foreign Currencies reported. For the first quarter of 2020, the turnover of the currency market of the Black Sea has added a total of 43.01 trillion yuan, according to the official statistics of the Chinese authorities.
