Belarus "external debt increased to $41 billion for 2019
As of January 1, 2020, Belarus "gross external debt increased by 3.7% to $40.75 billion in equivalent. This is reported by the National Bank of the Republic. According to the state regulator, at the beginning of the year the total external debt of Belarus was 64.5% of GDP, i.e. $4.33 thousand per capita. According to the results of 2018, it was estimated by the National Bank at $39.29 billion, showing growth for 2019. At the same time, the government accounted for $17.15 billion, $996 million for the National Bank and $15.24 billion for the non-financial sector as of January 1, 2020. As of January 1, Belarus "RRT were estimated at $9.3935 billion of this amount was not enough for a quarter of gross external debt. $6.37 billion was allocated last year to service gross external debt, but the overdue external debt as of January 1, 2020 amounted to $721 million (14.5% to the same figure last year). Belarus "GDP for 2019 amounted to $63.22 billion by 5.5% more than in 2019.
